Visit the Samba City in Rio to get a real taste of carnival preparations

There are many aspects which makes the carnival in Rio the best in the world. One of these is the perception of the samba schools which participate in the parade. It is these schools which add excitement and color to the parade. The central area also host carnival shows. The shows for the 2010 carnival will be held at January 10th and January 24th. These shows will feature samba music including the traditional samba music known as pagode. Samba dancers, the flag bearers and the whirling ladies add more glitz to these shows which also have a mini parade. Rio Carnival is a world famous event. It is held every year in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and is recognized for its glamour girls, glamour, fashion, costumes, samba parade, round the clock entertainment, sexy dancers etc. as Rio is considered as sexiest city of the world. Dances, dancers, singing, openness of the Brazilian culture and environment are the main attractions of this unforgettable event. People wait for Rio Carnival for a long time due to many attractions like samba parades, carnival balls, Rio Scala, samba dances etc. Carnival 2010 is starting on February 13th and the last ending ceremony will be held on February 16th, 2010. Saturday & Sunday would be of gigantic hotch potch here. Every year peoples from all over Brazil as well as from every corner of the world remains eager to participate in this once in a life time event.

Most of the visitors have already reserved their hotels. Participants do rehearsals to make the carnival great. From December they do rehearsals with costume and people as well come to see this also. There is Hard Rock Cafe’s Kid’s Folia also ball costume for children and adult. Night clubs are arranged for single. It has also a classical importance. Rio Carnival is considered a school for novelties of rhythm. Musicians mix traditional Brazilian music with new music.

To visit Rio de Janeiro is itself a great fun but when you go at the time of Carnival; it is a life time opportunity.

Street Parties at Rio Carnival

In Carnival days at Rio-de-Janeiro from Saturday to Tuesday, dances in the open-air are performed throughout the city. The whole city in fact the whole Brazil becomes colorful in the colors of carnival. The prominence is on let joy yourself and let enjoy each and everyone but naturally. The largest and most well thought-out dance celebration occurs on Cinelandia Square Rio.

With the exception of prearranged street dances, public also basically assemble outside small corner bars, get together and have enjoyment and excitement in the streets and everywhere. The venue which becomes a center of attraction of the largest crowd is outskirts of the Sambadrom, on carnival days.

The open-air small and gigantic dance parties continue for five days and nights to the sounds of celebrated orchestras, beats of drums and singers songs. These all are signs of carnival music and true spirit of Rio, revives the mood of the splendid carnival balls of the previous years and spreads the name and fame of Brazil’s liberal and laborious society.

There a stage is created on the square along with famous icons and the most celebrated singers of the decades of the beginning radio (from 1940’s to 60’s) old Brazilian samba music is played mainly and the crowd mostly consisting of elder and blue-collar people joins in and dances to the tunes of music whole night.

On Samba Parade (The Carnival) nights, not only gets over crowed within the Sambadrom, however before the beginning, for the duration of and after the Parade, millions of public equally of both the sexes assemble on the streets which did not get in there.
