Carnaval 2010- Information and Schedules for Latest Carnivals

The Pirate’s Week at the Cayman Islands is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year and with so many spectaculars it keeps people of all age busy and entertained. The latest version of this extravagant event is underway at the Cayman Islands. This gala event which commenced on November 12th will entertain all till November22nd 2009. The brilliant fireworks and the Caribbean dance which marked the beginning of the event was a wonderful spectacle for all present. The song competition and the Pirates Ashore were treats for all the visitors who have gathered to view this spectacle of colors and wonderful displays.

With the street parade and the street dance finales lined up all can hope to get a real fun time at the Pirates Week. The Children’s Fun Fair at Nov 15th day meant that the younger crowd had their share of fun with the great food and the magnificent costumes mixed with some great dancing moves. The Heritage Days in this special island during the week are the best way to become one with the traditional art. With many races and the special events still to come the Pirates week at Cayman Islands will certainly be an indulgence for all who come to be a part of this unique celebration.

Cayman Island is known all over for the Pirates week which is the best way to unwire your senses. With many activities and so many contests all the people who gather at this event have their hands full for the entire duration. Thursday Nov 12th will see pre –pirates parties

Friday, Nov 13th will see many events with the Pirates Costume Competition, fireworks, National Song Competition and street dance.

Sunday, Nov 15th will have two exciting activities for both kids and adults. While the kids can have fun at the Children Fun Day, the adults can get some adventure at the Underwater Treasure Hunt.

Friday, Nov 20th will see the bands competing in the Steel Band Competition.

Saturday, Nov 21st will see a couple of boat races, fireworks and the Street Dance Finale.

Sunday, Nov 22nd will be the day when this 11 day extravaganza will conclude with the Pirates week run and the Darts Tournament.
