Rio Hotels
When you make a trip to any city, you check the hotel bookings first. Rio de Janeiro is a great sightseeing city and attracts hordes of tourists. They look to relax and feel sunrise and sunset. Rio de Janeiro hotels are mostly built to look after these particular details.
It is a beach city and the ocean view is primary in many tourist minds. The cool air permanently blows against the palm lined cottages and resorts. You also stay away from the maddening noise that defines the city center.
Where to stay in Rio?
Staying places in Rio come in all budget ranges. Rio Sheraton, Copacabana place and Le Meridian are 5-stars and provide haven to the tourists throughout the stay. Smaller hotels are chosen for their accessibility and good room service. The weather is nice and holds well throughout the year. Ipanema, Copacabana and Centro are all lined up with nice hotels.
Beach side story
Beach side restaurants and hotels are personal favorite because of the fun-filled crowd, golden sands and the glorious ocean setting. The promenades by the ocean are very thought-provoking. Having a bite in a hotel room and looking at the waves makes one composed. Santa Teresa hotel is a great staying option. Cobblestone make and high placement accords it a great view. These may be referred to as Rio carnival hotels because of the high carnival population here.
I need a room from Feb 11, 2010 until Feb 17,2010 for carnaval. I would like to stay around Copacabana in a nice 3 or 4 star hotel.
Can you help or give me some options.
thank you,
Jason
Jason,
stumbled on this site and saw your question. I’ve lived in Rio on and off for a year and a half (twice during Caranaval).
You are going to pay an arm and a leg for hotels at that time and many of them will not let you bring guests (women) to your room and if they do they will charge you a fee.
best bet is to rent an apartment but you need to know someone who knows some on to get a good price.
If you have more questions you can email me at Dkidd2005@yahoo.com.
